It was announced today that our proposal titled “Accessibility for Sensory Disabilities and Aging Populations Traveling on Automated Vehicles” was chosen as a semi-finalist in the Department of Transportation’s Inclusive Design challenge. Along with receiving a cash prize of $300,000, we now advance to Stage II of the challenge where we will turn our proposal into a prototype and compete for a portion of the remaining $2 million. We are beyond excited to create this life changing technology!
